“Happy New Year everyone!” This is a time to reflect on the past year.

Just like the candle below I need to burn the bad memories of the past year, and welcome a new start in “08. 2007 was a VERY bad year for me in the relationship department. I am moving on with a new attitude in 2008!

I certainly have made my mistakes and have had time to reflect on that this week. I have been wrong in my thinking about this relationship. I now see what Mike meant about leaving when I’m not mad. Because if I truly didn’t want to be with him, I would leave even when I’m not angry. But that isn’t the case ~ I only leave when I’m angry with him!

So in this New Year of ‘08, I promise to think more about my own actions and my part in all this. So I welcome this new year with a new attitude to match ~ and that’s a promise! I will continue to look inside myself for areas of improvement. I guess you can say that’s my “New Year’s Resolution”!
